Welcome

Picture
I am a meteorologist and an atmospheric scientist. My research interest is in Atmospheric Dynamics, in particular in the mutual interaction of atmospheric flow features ranging from individual cloud systems to large-scale weather regimes. My research investigates the physical and dynamical processes governing these scale interactions and how they relate to extreme weather events and impact numerical weather forecast. To learn more explore my research pages.
Currently I am starting my own group at the Institute for Meteorology and Climate Research, KIT, Karlsruhe, Germany. Before, I was a senior scientist and lecturer in the Atmospheric Dynamics group of Prof. Heini Wernli at the Institute of Atmospheric and Climate Science (IAC), ETH Zurich, Switzerland.  Please feel free to contact me.
